NOTICE is hereby given that The Now

Asiatic Chemical Works Limited, of No. 16 Queen's Road Central, Victoria in the

Colony of Hong Kong, have on the 15th day

of October, 1941, applied for registration in Hong Kong, in the Register of Trade Marks, of the following Trade Marks:-

in the name of The New Asiatic Chemical Works Limited, who claim to be the pro- prietors thereof.

The Trade Marks have not hitherto been used by the Applicants but it is their intention so to use it forthwith as follows:---

respect of a medicinal preparatiou being a general antiseptic for wounds and for the external treat-

ment of skin infections, in Class 3,

and

) of Nos. 161-165, Pak Tai Street, Kowloon City, Hong Kong, have, by three applications all dated the 24th day of July, 1941, applied for the registration in Hong Kong, in the Register of Trade Marks, of the following

The said Trade Marks have been used by the applicants as to Trade Mark No. 1 in respect of Perfumery (including toilet articles and preparations for the teeth and hair) in Class 48; as to Trade Marks Nos. 2 and 3 in respect of Face Powder and Perfumed Powder in Class 48.

Registration of all the said Trade Marks is limited to the colours as shown on the specimen marks affixed to the forms of application for registration. The registration of the Trade Mark No. (1) shall give no right to the exclusive use of the Chinese characters () and the words "Sam Fong's". In use upon goods covered by the specification other than "Dusting Powder' () Trade Mark No. 1 will be varied by the substitution of the name of such goods for the words "Dusting Powder " and the Chinese characters (). The registration of Trade Marks Nos. 2 and 3 shall give no right to the exclusive use of the device of a peach, the Chinese characters

A) and the words "Sam Fong Toh Hun", appearing on Trade Mark No. 2; and the woman device, the abbreviation and numerals "No. 1001" and the words "Bedak Sam Fong", appearing on Trade Mark No. 3.

Trade Marks Nos. 2 and 3 are associated with each other and with Trade Marks Nos. 3 of 1930 11-13 and 55-59 of 1936 and 73 of 1938,
