(c) Reserved between the hours of 3.00 p.m. and 10.00 p.m. as Alternative date for heavy gun practice seawards which was originally detailed for 18th and 25th November, 1941.

Firing area "B" may be affected.

3. Heavy gun practice seawards will be carried out on 4th December, 1941, between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m.

Firing Area "C" will be affected.

Alternative date-5th December, 1941.

4. In accordance with sub-section 4 of section 4 of the Defences (Firing Areas) Ordinance, 1936, masters of ships and pilots of aircraft exempt from the operation of this Ordinance under section 10 as amended by Hong Kong Government Notifications of various dates, are warned to assist in the carrying out of the firing practice by hastening through the firing areas affected or by consenting to be towed out of the firing areas, if necessary, by any vessel acting under the orders of the Military Authorities.

Position. Lat. 07° 55′ N., long. 117° 13′ E. (Approx.).

Details. Comiran Island Light in the above position was reported not burning on

the night of November 12th, 1941.
