SPECIAL CONDITION TO SERIAL No. 5.
The Purchaser shall pay to the Licensee of Forestry Lot No. 586 a sum to be assessed by the District Officer after purchase, not exceeding $7.40.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS TO SERIAL No. 6.
1. No diversion of existing watercourses shall be permitted without the written sanction of the District Officer.
2. The Purchaser shall pay to the Licensee of Forestry Lot No. 330 a sum to be assessed by the District Officer after purchase.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS TO SERIAL No. 9.
1. The lot shall be kept constantly planted with trees, to the District Officer's satis- faction, to prevent erosion of the soil thereon.
2. The purchaser shall pay to the Licensee of Forestry Lot No. 329 a sum to be assessed by the District Officer, after purchase.

No. S. 480. It is hereby notified that the following Sale of Crown Land by Public Auction will be held at the Ping Shan Land Office, at 11.30 a.m., on Thursday, the 18th day of December, 1941.
The lots are sold for the term of seventy-five years from the 1st day of July, 1898, with the right of renewal for a further term of 24 years less 3 days at a re-assessed Crown Rent, Serial Nos. 1 to 3 as Building Lots, Serial Nos. 4 to 10 as Agricultural Lots, and Serial No. 11 as an Agricultural and Orchard Lot, subject to the General Conditions of Sale published in Government Notification No. 364 of 1934, as amended by Government Notification No. 50 of 1940. Serial Nos. 1 to 3 are further subject to Special Conditions Nos. 2 (a) and (b) excepting rules (1), (2) and (3), and further subject to Special Conditions Nos. 3 and 4, and Serial Nos. 4 to 11 are further subject to Special Conditions Nos. 1 (a), (b) and (c) in the above-mentioned Government Notification, Serial Nos. 5 and 11 are further subject to the Special Conditions hereunder specified.
The amounts to be spent on each building lot in rateable improvements under the General Condition No. 5 is $250 each.
