NOTICES TO MARINERS.

PHILIPPINE ISLANDS-MINDANAO ISLAND-

COMIRAN ISLAND-PANAY ISLAND.

Lights not Burning.

Details.-The following automatic acetylene flashing white lights, reported not

burning :--

(a) Tinaca Point Light in Lat. 5° 33′ N., long. 125° 20′ E. approxi-

mate. On the South Coast of Mindanao Island.

(b) Comiran Island Light in Lat. 7° 55′ N., long. 117° 13′ E. approxi-

mate. In the Balabac Strait.

(c) Tubigan Point in Lat. 10° 44' N., long. 121° 56′ E. approximate

San Jose Light on the West side of Panay Island.

(d) The light on the Southwest Point of the Northern entrance to Rio

Grande de Mindanao.

Escarceo Point Light.

Position.-Lat. 13° 31′ N., long. 120° 59′ E. (Approx.).

Details.--The characteristic of Escarceo Point Light is observed as flashing every

nine seconds.
