No. S. 357.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in quintuplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Medical Department Provisions, Fodder and Sundries Contract" will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 8th day of September, 1941, for the supply of :-

required locally by the Medical Department, for a period of three months from 1st of October, 1941 to 31st of December, 1941.

Tenderers may quote for all or any of the Schedules.

Net prices must be quoted and these must include the cost of delivery of all supplies etc., and no additional charge shall be made for such delivery.

No tender will be considered, unless the person tendering produces a receipt to the effect that he has deposited with the Accountant-General the sum of $20 for each schedule for which he tenders as a pledge of the bona fides of his tender, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown if such person fails or refuses to carry out his Tender, should the tender be accepted. The sum deposited shall be returned to any Tenderer whose tender is not accepted.

Contractors will be required to enter into a Bond or to give such other security as the Accountant-General shall require for the due fulfilment of contracts, and for the supply of articles of the best quality.

Contractors for the above Schedules will be required to deliver the supplies to all or any of the Government hospitals and institutions as required by the Director of Medical Services.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any Tender, and reserves to itself the right of accepting ALL OR ANY PART of a Tender.

Tenderers may be required to lodge samples for all or any of the items detailed in the Schedules.

All other information and tender forms may be obtained from the Director of Medical Services, National City Bank of New York Building, 2nd Floor, No. 2, Queen's Road Central.
