REPORT OF THE FINANCE COMMITTEE.-The Colonial Secretary laid on the table the Report of the Finance Committee (No. 15) dated the 23rd October, 1913, and moved its adoption.
The Colonial Treasurer seconded.
Question-put and agreed to.
APPROPRIATION BILL FOR 1914.-The Colonial Secretary addressed the Council and moved that the Council resolve itself into a Committee of the whole Council to consider the Bill entitled An Ordinance to apply a sum not exceeding Eight million one hundred and sixty-seven thousand one hundred and two Dollars to the Public Service of the year 1914.
The Colonial Treasurer seconded.
Question-put and agreed to.
Council in Committee on the Bill.
On the motion of the Colonial Secretary the amendments recommended by the Finance Committee were adopted.
On Council resuming, the Colonial Secretary reported that the Bill as amended had passed through Committee and moved that it be read a third time.
The Colonial Treasurer seconded.
Question-put and agreed to.
Bill read a third time and passed.
ADJOURNMENT.—The Council then adjourned sine die.
