No. S. 308.-It is hereby notified that the following Sale of Crown Land by Public Auction will be held at the Land Office, Ping Shan, at 11.30 a.m., on Thursday, the 21st day of August, 1941.

The Lots are sold for the term of seventy-five years from the 1st day of July 1898, with the right of renewal for a further term of 24 years less 3 days at a re-assessed Crown Rent, Serial No. 1 as an Orchard Lot and Serial No. 2 as an Agri- cultural Lot, subject to the General Conditions of Sale published in Government Notifi- cation No. 364 of 1934, as amended by Government Notification No. 50 of 1940, and further subject to Special Conditions Nos. 1 (a), (b) and (c) in the above-mentioned Government Notification.

Serial No. I is further subject to the Special Conditions hereunder specified.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS TO SERIAL No. 1.

I. The road shown coloured blue on the plan deposited in the District Office Northern District, shall remain Crown Land as a right of way.

2. Half of the area shall be planted with fruit trees within 12 months, and the whole area shall be planted with fruit trees within 24 months, of the date of sale, to the satisfaction of the District Officer.

3. Trees shall be planted not more than ten feet apart.

4. Reasonable facilities for access to the graves or

'Kam Tap on the lot shall be given at the Ching Ming and Chung Yeung Festivals to the persons entitled, in the opinion of the District Officer, to worship at the graves or "Kam Tap".

5. No trees shall be planted within 15 feet of the existing graves or

6. The purchaser shall make his own arrangements with the owners for the removal of any of these graves or Kam Tap" on the lot.
