NOTICE OF FIRING PRACTICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE

DEFENCES (FIRING AREAS) ORDINANCE, 1936.

1. Light gun firing practice will be carried out between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 12.00 midnight on 30th June, 1941.

Firing Areas "D" and "E" will be affected.

2. Firing practice, as under, is notified for 1st July, 1941-

(a) Heavy gun anti-aircraft practice in the western and south-western area

of the Island between the hours of 8.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m.

Firing Areas "D" and "E" will be affected.

Alternative date-3rd July, 1941.

(b) Light Naval gun practice in JUNK BAY between the hours of 8.00 p.m.

and 12.00 midnight.

Firing Area "A" will be affected.

(c) Light gun practice will be carried out between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and

12.00 midnight.

Firing Areas"D" and "E" will be affected.
