No. S. 244.-Sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tenders for Aircraft Mooring Buoys", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 16th day of June, 1941.
Four "L.G." (Aircraft type) 42" Mooring Buoys with cable supporter, shackle eye 7 long end links and joining shackle and fendering complete. Buoys to be of welded construction and price to include the buoy finished as shown on drawing number "L.G.8" of which a plan can be seen at the office of the Principal Surveyor of Ships, Harbour Office, Hong Kong.
The time of delivery after acceptance of tender to be stated.
The buoys to be built to the entire satisfaction of the Principal Surveyor of Ships and Superintendent of Aerodrome.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

No. 8. 245.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked Tender for Construction of Refuse Boat Pier at French Street' will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 16th day of June, 1941, for the construction of a reinforced concrete refuse boat pier and minor works off French Street, Connaught Road, Hong Kong.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $3,000.00 with the Accountant-General.
Any tenderer may be required as a condition of the consideration or acceptance of his tender to supply full particulars of the constitution of his firm.
For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
