NOTICE OF FIRING PRACTICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DEFENCES (FIRING AREAS) ORDINANCE, 1936.

1. Heavy gun firing practice will be carried out between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on 21st April, 1941.

Firing Areas "D" and E" will be affected.

Alternative dates-25th and 26th April, 1941.

2. Light gun firing practice will be carried out between the hours of 6 p.m. and 12 midnight on 23rd, 24th and 25th April, 1941.

Firing Areas "D" and "E" will be affected.

3: In accordance with sub-section 4 of section 4 of the Defences (Firing Areas) Ordinance, 1936, masters of vessels and pilots of aircraft exempt from the operation of this Ordinance under section 10, are warned to assist in the carrying out of the firing practice by hastening through the firing areas affected or by consenting to be towed out of the firing area, if necessary, by any vessel acting under the orders of the Military Authorities.
