NOTICE OF FIRING PRACTICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DEFENCES (FIRING AREAS) ORDINANCE, 1936.

1. Firing practice, as under, is notified for 10th February, 1941-

(a) Heavy anti-aircraft practice in the southern area of the Island between

the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m.

Firing Areas "C" and "D" will be affected.

(b) Light gun firing practice between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Firing Areas "D" and "E" will be affected. Alternative date-12th February, 1941.

(c) Light gun practice between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 12.00 midnight.

Firing Areas "C" "D" and "E" will be affected.

2. Firing practice, as under, is notified for 11th February, 1941 :—

(a) Heavy Anti-Aircraft practice in the southern area of the Island between

the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m.

Firing Areas "C" and "D" will be affected.

(b) Light gun practice between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m.

Firing Areas "D" and "E" will be affected. Alternative date-13th February, 1941.

(c) Heavy gun practice between the hours of 6.30 p.m. and 10.30 p.m.

Firing Area "A" will be affected.

(d) Light gun firing practice between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 12.00

midnight.

Firing Areas "D" and "E" will be affected.

3. Firing practice, as under, is notified for 12th February, 1941 :—

(a) Heavy anti-aircraft practice in the southern area of the Island between

the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Firing Areas "C" and "D" will be affected.

(b) Heavy gun practice between the hours of 6.30 p.m. and 10.30 p.m.

Firing Area "B" will be affected.

(c) Light gun firing practice between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 12.00

midnight.

Firing Areas D" and "E" will be affected.

4. Light gun firing practice will be carried out between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 12.00 midnight on 13th February, 1941.

Firing Areas "D" and "E" will be affected.

5. Firing practice, as under, is notified for 14th February, 1941-

(a) Reserved as alternative date to 7th February, 1941, for heavy gun firing

practice between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 4 p.m. in firing area
