No. 1416.-His Excellency the Governor has approved the relinquishment by Sub-Lieutenant (E) PERCIVAL EDWARD NETTLE of his commission in the Hong Kong Naval Volunteer Force, as from 8th November, 1941.

No. 1417. With reference to Government Notification No. 35 of 10th January, 1941, it is hereby notified for general information that Mr. CHEN SHENG-WEI has relin- quished his duties as a Chinese Assistant Immigration Officer, with effect from 27th November, 1941.

No. 1418. It is hereby notified pursuant to section 5 of the Catholic Mission of Macao Incorporation Ordinance, 1935, (Ordinance No. 53 of 1935) that, until the appoint- ment of a successor to the Very Reverend Dom JOSÉ DA COSTA NUNES as Bishop of Macao, the Very Reverend Father ABILIO JOSÉ FERNANDES, the Vicar Capitular of the Diocese of Macao, will be entitled to exercise all the powers and authorities conferred by the said Ordinance on the Administrator in Hong Kong of the Catholic Mission of Macao, satisfactory evidence of his title to do so having been furnished to His Excellency the Governor.

No. 1419.-In order that a complete list may be maintained for record purposes, it is requested that those ladies and gentlemen resident in Hong Kong, other than those now serving in His Majesty's Forces, who have had any decoration conferred upon them by His Majesty the KING, will inform the Chief Clerk, Colonial Secretariat. The year when the decoration was conferred and the full Christian names of the recipient should be stated, unless this has been already done, within 14 days from the date of this notification.
