No. 1277.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under instructions from the Right Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonies, to appoint Mr. MARTIN GEORGE O'CONNOR, B.A., to be a Senior Inspector of Schools, with effect from 4th January, 1941.

No. 1278.-With reference to Government Notification No. 431 dated 17th April, 1941, His Majesty the KING has been pleased to approve the appointment of the Honourable Mr. JOHN PENNEFATHER PENNEFATHER-EVANS to be an Official Member of the Legislative Council, with effect from 16th April, 1941.

No. 1279.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under sub-section (3) of section (3) of the Births and Deaths Registration Ordinance, No. 21 of 1934, to appoint Mr. DAVID GEORGE WILLIS to be a Deputy Registrar of Births and Deaths, in place of Mr. REGINALD THOMAS BROADBRIDGE, with effect from 1st November, 1941.
