APPOINTMENTS, &c.

No. 1121.-It is hereby notified that Mr. THOMAS MEGARRY resumed duty as Principal Assistant Colonial Secretary and Clerk of Councils, with effect from 19th September, 1941.

No. 1122.--It is notified for information that Mr. LANCELOT RUGGLES ANDREWES resumed duty as Registrar of the Supreme Court, Registrar of Companies, Official Trustee and Official Administrator on 19th September, 1941.

No. 1123.--It is notified for information that Mr. MYLES JOHN ABBOTT resumed duty as Acting Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court, Acting Deputy Registrar of Companies and Acting Marshal in Prize in addition to his other duties on 19th September, 1941.

No. 1124. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. C. J. NORMAN to act as Superintendent of Prisons, with effect from 15th September, 1941, until further notice.

No. 1125.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. J. W. FITZGERALD to act as Assistant Superintendent of Prisons, with effect from 15th September, 1941, until further notice.

No. 1126. With reference to Government Notification No. 243 of 28th February, 1941, His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. FRANK DURELL ROBERTS to be a Member of the Shipping Control Board, vice Mr. WALTER HEATHCOTE Lock, resigned, with effect from 17th September, 1941.

No. 1127.-It is hereby notified that during the absence from the Colony of Mr. SEIKI YANO, Consul-General for Japan at Hong Kong, Mr. SHIROSHICHI KIMURA will be in charge of the Japanese Consulate-General.
