AND WHEREAS certain duties on Toilet Preparations would be withdrawn and would become the duties on Proprietary Medicines, Toilet Preparations and certain other substances appearing in such resolution if the same became law :
Now I, the said Governor, under the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Public Revenue Protection Ordin- ance, 1927, do hereby make this order giving full force and effect to the provisions of such resolutions as from 2 o'clock p.m. on Friday, the Nineteenth day of September, 1941, for so long as this order remains in force.

Legislative Council Resolution.
RESOLVED pursuant to section 4 (1) of the Dutiable Com- modities Ordinance, 1931, as follows-
Government Notification No. 537 published in the Govern- ment Gazette of the 8th May, 1941, is hereby revoked and the folowing substituted therefor :--

RESOLUTION.
RESOLVED pursuant to sections 3 and 4 of the Dutiable Commodities Ordinance, 1931, as follows-
APPLICATION OF ORDINANCE TO "PROPRIETARY MEDICINES' AND TOILET PREPARATIONS' AS DEFINED IN THIS RESOLUTION.
All the provisions of the Dutiable Commodities Ordinance, except Parts II, III and IV thereof, shall apply to Proprietary Medicines and Toilet Preparations.
