In exercise of the powers conferred by the Emergency Powers (Defence) Acts, 1939 and 1940, as applied to this Colony by the Emergency Powers (Colonial Defence) Order in Council, 1939, and the Emergency Powers (Colonial Defence) (Amendment) Order in Council, 1940, His Excellency the. Governor makes the following regulations-

The Dutiable Commodities Ordinance, 1931, Amendment Regulations, 1941.

1. These regulations may be cited as the Dutiable Com- modities Ordinance, 1931, Amendment Regulations, 1941.

2. The Dutiable Commodities Ordinance, 1931, is amended by the insertion of the following proviso to section 64 thereof

It is hereby notified for general information that, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by an order of His Excellency the Governor relating to exit permits published in the Gazette of 4th July, 1941, as Government Notification 806, the Colonial Secretary has exempted from that order the following additional class of persons--

7. members of H.B.M.'s diplomatic and consular services.

which is added accordingly to Government Notification 863 published in the Gazette of 18th July, 1941.
