No. 1019.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. MYLES JOHN ABBOTT to be Official Receiver, Registrar of Trade Marks, Registrar of Patents and Custodian of Enemy Property, with effect from 28th August, 1941.

No. 1020. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. MYLES JOHN ABBOTT to act as Registrar of the Supreme Court, Registrar of Companies, Official Trustee and Official Administrator, in addition to his other duties, with effect from 28th August, 1941.

No. 1021.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. JOHN PELLY MURPHY to act as Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court, Deputy Registrar of Companies and Marshal in Prize, in addition to his other duties, with effect from 28th August, 1941.

It is hereby notified for general information that, under the powers conferred on him by paragraph (5) of regula- tion 50 of the Defence Regulations, 1940, the DIRECTOR OF SUPPLY, with the consent of His Excellency the Governor, has delegated all his powers under that regulation relating to unmanufactured, semi-manufactured and manufactured metals and alloys to the METALS CONTROLLER, but without prejudice to the exercise of the said or any other powers by the Director of Supply, as he may from time to time think fit.
