ORDINANCE No. 25 OF 1914 (TRADING WITH THE ENEMY).

General Licence and Authority as to Trading with bodies of persons in territories formerly

known as Italian East Africa.

His Excellency the Governor, in pursuance of the powers conferred on him by paragraph (i) of the proviso to section 4(3) of the Trading with the Enemy Ordinance 1914, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby authorizes persons firms and companies carrying on business in the Colony to trade with any body or bodies of persons (whether corporate or unincorporated) carrying on business in the territories formerly known as Italian East Africa.

ORDINANCE No. 32 of 1939. (COMPULSORY SERVICE).

His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, pursuant to Section 11 (7) of the Compulsory Service Ordinance, 1939, to permit the following persons to quit the Hong Kong Defence Reserve:-

Burton, Cyril Herbert, with effect from 9th August,

1941.

Lansdowne, Ernest, with effect from 12th August, 1941. Strong, William Harry, with effect from 12th August,

1941.

Wilson, John, with effect from 12th August, 1941.
