No. 968.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. ALEXANDER CHARLES MEREDITH, M.C., to be Controller of Food, with effect from 24th July, 1941, in place of Mr. DAVID LOCKE NEWBIGGING, M.C., J.P., resigned.

No. 969.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. BERNARD JOHN LACON, M.I.Mech.E., to be an Assistant Controller of Trade in relation to metals.

No. 970.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. T. F. Lo (Lo TUNG-FAN) to be Deputy Commissioner of Police (Chinese Special Constabulary), with effect from 1st August, 1941.
