No. 962. It is hereby notified that Mr. ADDISON ELWOOD SOUTHARD, Consul- General for the United States at Hong Kong resumed charge of the United States Consulate-General, on 9th August, 1941.

No. 963. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. CHARLES EDWARD MICHAEL TERRY to be Chief Air Raid Warden for Kowloon, New Kowloon and the New Territories, with effect from 1st August, 1941.

No. 964-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. LEONARD GEOFFREY MORGAN, B.Sc. (Lond.), M.A. (Lond.), Dip. Ed., to act as a Senior Inspector of Schools, Education Department, with effect from 2nd August, 1941, and until further notice.

No. 965.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under instructions from the Right Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonies, to appoint Mr. JOHN ANGWIN to be Assistant Superintendent of Crown Lands, with effect from 11th February, 1941.

No. 966.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to approve that Lieutenant DAVID MORGAN RICHARDS be allowed to resign his commission in the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps, with effect from 28th July, 1941.
