ORDINANCE No. 18 of 1935. (BUILDINGS).

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 104 and 166 of the Buildings Ordinance, 1935, the Governor in Council hereby makes the following amendment to the regulations in schedule J of that Ordinance under the heading "Drainage (including water closets and urinals) Regulations."

Amendment.

The following additional regulation is inserted immedi- ately after regulation 25:-

25A. --Whenever a drain is intended to carry (a), any matter likely to injure another drain or sewer or to interfere with the free flow of its contents or to affect prejudicially the treatment and disposal of its contents or, (b), any chemical refuse or waste steam, or any liquid of a temperature higher than one hundred and ten degrees Fahrenheit, being refuse or steam which, or a liquid which when so heated, is, either alone or in combination with the contents of a drain or sewer. dangerous, or the cause of a nuisance, or prejudicial to health or, (c), any petroleum spirit, or carbide of calcium, it shall be provided with a neutralizing tank, or cooling tank, or both as the circumstances may require, sited and designed to the satisfaction of the Building Authority.

ORDINANCE No. 29 of 1936. (PLEASURE GROUNDS AND BATHING PLACES REGULATION).

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 3, 4 and 8 of the Pleasure Grounds and Bathing Places Regulation Ordinance, 1936, the Governor in Council amends the First and Second Schedules to the said Ordinance, as follows:

Amendments.

1. The list of RECREATION GROUNDS in the First Schedule is amended by the addition of the words King George's Field, Kowloon" at the end thereof.

2. The Second Schedule is amended by inserting the following section immediately after the section relating to West End Park:-
