COLONIAL SECRETARY'S DEPARTMENT.
Order.
In exercise of the powers conferred on him by regulation 50A of the Defence Regulations, 1940, His Excellency the Governor, being satisfied that it is expedient so to do, hereby declares that every undertaking for-
(a) the import of firewood;
(b) the buying and selling of firewood,
shall be a controlled undertaking.
For the purposes of this order the competent authority, in accordance with whose orders or directions the under- taker shall carry on the undertaking, shall be the Stores Controller.

In this order, import means to bring or cause to be brought into the Colony by land or sea.

In exercise of the powers conferred on me by regulation 50 of the Defence Regulations, 1940, I, the CONTROLLER OF TRADE, with the consent of His Excellency the Governor, hereby make the following order-
1. No person shall import firewood into this Colony without a valid and subsisting licence granted to him by the Stores Controller.
2. In this order-
(a) "import
means to bring or cause to be brought
into the Colony by land or sea;
