COLONIAL SECRETARY'S DEPARTMENT.

In exercise of the powers conferred on him by regulation 32 of the Defence Regulations, 1940, His Excellency the Governor makes the following order, in the interests of defence and for maintaining supplies and services essential to the life of the community-

Order.

The premises described in the Schedule to this Order are hereby declared to be protected places for the purpose of the Defence Regulations, 1940.

Permission to enter or be in any premises to which this Order applies may be given by the occupier or a person deputed by him or, if the occupier is a Government depart- ment, by a person deputed by the head of that department.

SCHEDULE.

I. The premises of the Far East Oxygen and Acetylene Com- pany, Limited, at To Kwa Wan bounded by Kowloon Marine Lot No. 85, To Kwa Wan Road. Lok Shan Road and the Harbour.

II. The premises on Crown land near Aberdeen Inland Lot No. 72 lying between Island Road and the sea.

Order.

In exercise of the powers conferred on me by regulation 50 of the Defence Regulations, 1940, I, the CONTROLLER OF TRADE, with the consent of His Excellency the Governor, hereby amend the order published as Government Notification 475 in the Gazette of 26th April, 1940, by the substitution of the words “ Radic receiving sets and parts" for the words "Radio receiving sets "in the first paragraph thereof.
