APPOINTMENTS, &c.
No. 851.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under instructions from the Right Honourable, the Secretary of State for the Colonies, to appoint Mr. EDGAR BUCHANAN LAMBERT, F.R.G.S., to be Superintendent of Crown Lands and Surveys, with effect from 11th February, 1941.

No. 852.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. ALFRED REGINALD SEYMOUR MAJOR to be a Deputy Immigration Officer, with effect from 30th June, 1941-

No. 853.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Inspector BERNARD PALKINORE THORPE to be an Assistant Immigration Officer, with effect from 30th June, 1941.

No. 854.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. Liu KUANG TIEN (H) to be an analyst for the purposes of the Adulterated Food and Drugs Ordinance, No. 8 of 1935.

No. 855.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under Regulation 9 of the Regulations made under the Female Domestic Service Ordinance, No. 1 of 1923, to appoint Miss FRANCES FONG KWOK () to be Inspector of Muitsai, with effect from the 15th July, 1941.
17th July, 1941.
No. 856.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. EDGAR DAVIDSON, provisionally, and subject to His Majesty's pleasure, to be temporarily an Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council, in the place of Mr. STANLEY HUDSON DODWELL, who is temporarily absent from the Colony, with effect from the 17th July, 1941.
