In exercise of the powers conferred on me by regulation 50 of the Defence Regulations, 1940, I, the DIRECTOR OF SUPPLY, with the consent of His Excellency the Governor, hereby make the following order-

The order made by the Director of Supply and published in the Gazette of 21st March, 1941, as Government Noti- fication 337, as amended by Government Notification 526 published in the Gazette of 2nd May, 1941, and Government Notification 669 published in the Gazette of 30th May, 1941, is hereby further amended-

(a) by the addition to the First Schedule thereto of the following-

Newsprint (or similar paper

intended for other purposes).

1, the CONTROLLER OF FOOD, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in me by regulation 50 of the Defence Regulations, 1940, with the consent of His Excellency the Governor hereby make the following order-

Every person who and firm which sells rice retail shall display and keep prominently displayed in his or their business premises a notice stating the grades of rice offered for sale and the respective maximum controlled prices of rice of those grades.
