ORDINANCE No. 13 of 1935. (PUBLIC HEALTHI

[FOOD]).

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Public Health (Food) Ordinance, 1935, the Urban Council makes the following amendments of the by-laws under the heading "Restaurants, Eating Houses and Food Stalls" set forth in the Schedule to the above-mentioned Ordinance :-

Amendments.

The following additional by-laws are inserted immediately after by-law 22:

22A. Except with the permission in writing of the Coun- cil no unsalted flesh meat shall be brought into the premises of any restaurant or eating house or used or consumed therein other than that which has been slaughtered in the Govern- ment Slaughterhouses, or which has been imported from Canada, Australia or New Zealand or from such other localities as the Council may from time to time approve.

22B. Every licensee shall at all times provide a sufficient quantity of boiling water and shall cause every chop stick and utensil to be washed in boiling water after their use by one customer and before their use by another.
