ORDINANCE No. 38 of 1939. (ESSENTIAL COMMODITIES RESERVES).

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Reserves Ordinance, 1939, the Governor in Council hereby amends the Schedule to the said Ordinance, as amended by Government Notification No. 230 published in the Gazette of the 28th February, 1941, by adding the following to the list of commodities enumerated in the said notification-

7. Salt, other than refined table-salt.

No. 714.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. ERNEST HILLAS WILLIAMS to be a Director of the Widows' and Orphans' Pension, vice Mr. ROBERT ANDREW DERMOD FORREST.
