ORDINANCE No. 25 of 1914. (TRADING WITH THE ENEMY).
The Trading with the Enemy (Specified
Territories) (No. 1) Order, 1941.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 (1) (e) of the Trading with the Enemy Ordinance, 1914, as amended by regulation 2 of the Trading with the Enemy Ordinance, 1914, Amendment Regulations, 1940, and of all other powers thereto him enabling, His Excellency the Governor, with the prior approval of the Secretary of State, hereby orders as follows:
1. The provisions of the Trading with the Enemy Ordin- ance, 1914, shall apply in relation to Syria and Lebanon as they apply in relation to enemy territory.
2. This Order may be cited as the Trading with the Enemy (Specified Territories) (No. 1) Order, 1941.

Notice.
It is hereby notified for general information that after 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 14th, 1941, export licences for YELLOW BEANS, GREEN BEANS, BLACK BEANS, PEANUT OIL and FLOUR will not be handled by the Trade Control Office.
On and after 9 a.m. on Monday, June 16th, 1941, all YELLOW BEANS, GREEN BEANS, BLACK BEANS, PEANUT OIL and FLOUR licences will be dealt with solely at the office of the Controller of Food, 1st floor, Union Building.
