I, the CONTROLLER OF TRADE, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by regulation 50 of the Defence Regulations, 1940, with the consent of His Excellency the Governor hereby amend the order relating to the export of certain goods, published in the Gazette Extraordinary of 1st April, 1941, as Government Notification 366, by revoking the words 'or under the hand of an officer of my department on my behalf, of the following goods.' in the fifth and sixth lines of that order and substituting therefor the words 'or under the hand of a public officer authorized by me in that behalf, of the following goods."

STORES DEPARTMENT.
In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by regulation 50 of the Defence Regulations, 1940, as enacted by Government Notification 1230 published in the Gazette of 8th November, 1940, I, the STORES CONTROLLER, with the consent of His Excellency the Governor, hereby revoke the order published as Government Notification 387 in the Gazette of 4th April, 1941, and instead make the following order :-

The maximum prices at which, from 18th April, 1941, until my further order in that behalf, FIREWOOD may be sold in this Colony shall be :-
Wholesale.
Sandakan, billets or logs without bark, 10 catties and more
in weight () -53 catties per $1.00.
Sandakan, billets or logs with bark, 10 catties and more in
weight (有皮根柴) 60 catties per $1.00.
Penang, billets or logs with bark 15 catties and more in
weight () -58 catties per $1.00.
Singapore, billets or logs under 15 catties in weight (*)
-53 catties per $1.00.
Kuala Lumpur, billets or logs with bark 15 catties and more in weight() -60 catties per $1.00. Miscellaneous, importations not specified above (***)
-53 catties per $1.00.
Retail,
