APPOINTMENTS, &c.

No. 427-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint the following as Honorary Aides-de-Camp, with effect from 14th March, 1941 :

Subadar AMRICK SINGH, 12th Coast Regiment, Royal Artillery. Subadar-Major SULTAN BUX, 5th Anti-Aircraft Regiment, Royal Artillery. Subadar-Major HAIDAR REHMAN, 2nd Battalion, 14th Punjab Regiment.

Mr. WONG SIK-KUEN, Corps of Air Raid Wardens.

Lieutenant K. E. YOUNG, 1st Battalion, The Middlesex Regiment (Duke of

Cambridge's Own).

No. 428.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to approve of the relin- quishment by Lieutenant JouN PAUL GUNNER, R.N., of his appointment as Honorary Aide-de-Camp, with effect from 7th April, 1941.

No. 429.-Ilis Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Commander (serving as Lieutenant-Commander) WILFRED HUGH LANE HARRISON, R.N. (Rtd.), to be his Honorary Aide-de-Camp, with effect from 7th April, 1941.

No. 430.-The Right Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonics has been pleased to approve the appointment of Mr. JOHN PENNEFATHER PENNEFATHER-EVANS to be Commissioner of Police, with effect from 17th February, 1941, inclusive.

Mr. JOHN PENNEFATHER PENNEFATHER-EVANS arrived in the Colony on 9th April, 1941.

No. 431.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, provisionally and subject to His Majesty's pleasure, Mr. JOHN PENNEFATHER PENNEFATHER-EVANS to be an Official Member of the Legislative Council, with effect from 16th April, 1941.

No. 432.-It is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint--

Honourable Mr. JOHN PENNEFATHER PENNEFATHER-EVANS to be Chief Security

Officer,

-and to revoke the appointment of Honourable Mr. CECIL. GRAHAM PERDUE as Chief Security Officer.
