NOTICE

to ships, aircraft and passengers leaving the Colony.

It is hereby notified for general information that by reason of the bringing into effect as regards cholera of the provisions of Regulation 3 (a) and (b) of the Quarantine (Measures on Departure) Regulations, 1959, by the declara- tion of the Governor in Council to that effect published as Government Notification No. 367 in the Gazette of 4th April. 1941, no passenger will be allowed to leave Hong Kong for any destination by vessel or aircraft unless he has been recently incculated against cholera and can produce to the Health Officer evidence of such inoculation in the form of a valid certificate of inoculation against cholera; such certificate. is one which :

(1) shows that the holder has been inoculated not less than six days and not more than six months before embarking,

(2) bears a photograph of the holder attached and chopped with an official seal, and

(3) is signed by a Health Officer or other Government Medical Officer of this Colony or by any authority outside this Colony approved by the Director of Medical Services.
