No. 300. His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint, under the provisions of section 10 of the Medical Registration Ordi- nance, 1935, Ordinance No. 41 of 1935, Professor GORDON KING, L.R.C.P., F.R.C.S., F.C.O.G., to be a Member of the Medical Board during the absence from the Colony of Professor LEWIS RUDALL SHORE, M.C., M.A., M.D., B.Chir., D.P.H., M.R.C.S., M.R.C.P., or until further notice, with effect from 22nd February, 1941.

No. 301.-His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has approved the relinquishment by Sub-Lieutenant ALBERT EDWARD BATES of his commission in the Hong Kong Naval Volunteer Force, as from 11th March, 1941.

No. 302.-With reference to Government Notification No. 1343 published in Gazette No. 70 of 13th December, 1940, His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been notified by the Secretary of State for the Colonies that he has been informed that Mr. FREDERICO A. XAVIER has been appointed Honorary Consul for Mexico at Hong Kong.
