1. The Council met pursuant to adjournment. The Honourable the Colonial
Secretary occupied the Chair,
ANNOUNCEMENT.
2. The Honourable the Colonial Secretary announced that His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government was indisposed and, on behalf of the Council, expressed deep sympathy and the hope for His Excellency's early recovery. The Colonial Secretary then announced that, in accordance with Article XXI of the Royal Instructions, he had been appointed to preside at the meeting.
The Honourable Mr. JOHN JOHNSTONE PATERSON On behalf of the community supported the Colonial Secretary's remarks with regard to His Excellency's indisposition.
