In exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Emergency Powers (Colonial Defence) Order in Council, 1939, and the Emergency Powers (Colonial Defence) (Amendment) Order in Council, 1940, and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government amends Regulation 59A of the Defence Regula- tions, 1940, as enacted by Government Notification 163 published in the Gazette Extraordinary of 11th February, 1941, by the addition thereto of the following paragraph at the end thereof—
(7) The powers conferred by this regulation shall be deemed to be in addition to, and not in derogation of, the powers conferred by any other enactment.
