ORDINANCE No. 38 of 1939. (ESSENTIAL COMMODITIES RESERVES).

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Reserves Ordinance, 1939, His Excellency the Governor in Council hereby amends the Schedule to the said Ordinance by the deletion of the list of commodities in the said Schedule, as amended by Government Notifications 87 and 135, published in the Gazettes of 24th January, 1941 and 7th February, 1941 respectively, and the substitution of the following list therefor—

The following commodities, of such standards as the Con- troller may direct, namely

1.

Rice.

2. Yellow Beans.

3. Green Beans.

4. Black Beans.

5. Peanut Oil.

6. Flour.

No. 231.- His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased, under Regulation No. 1 made by the Governor in Council under Section 4 of the Nurses Registration Ordinance, 1931, Ordinance No. 1 of 1931, to appoint Professor WILLIAM INNES GERRARD, O.B.E., M.D., to be a member of the Nurses Board for a further term of three years, with effect from 13th March, 1941.

No. 232. His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased, under Regulation No. I made by the Governor in Council under Section 4 of the Nurses Registration Ordinance, 1931, Ordinance No. 1 of 1931, to appoint Dr. PAUL BIDDULPH WILKINSON to be a member of the Nurses Board, during the absence from the Colony of Professor WILLIAM Innes Geirard, (.B.E., M.D., with effect from 13th March,

1941.
