EXECUTIVE COUNCIL.

Hong Kong.

ORDINANCE No. 10 of 1899. (MERCHANT SHIPPING).

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 25 (4) and 42 (1) of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance, 1899, the Governor in Council hereby further amends Table M in the Schedule to the said Ordinance as appearing on pages 336 to 348 of Volume I of the Regulations of Hong Kong (1937 Edition) with effect from the 1st March, 1941, as follows:-

In Part (IV).-QUARANTINE pages 341 and 342 of the said regulations, Regulations 21 and 22 together with the headings and the boundaries of anchorages therein set out are rescinded and the following is substituted therefor :-

Kowloon Bay Anchorage.

On the east longitude

22°. 18′. 36′′ N.

22°. 18′. 12′′ N.

114°. 12′. 36′′ E.

On the west longitude

114°. 11′. 36′′ E.

Limits of Quarantine Anchorage.

Stonecutters Island Special Anchorage.

22. This anchorage is to be used only by ships which have received permission from the Director of Medical Services to do so.

Western boundary.-A line drawn from the western extremity of Stonecutters Island to the western extremity of Green Island.

Southern boundary.-The mast of the Royal Observatory at Kowloon bearing S.82°E. commencing where it meets the western boundary and terminating where it meets the eastern boundary.

Eastern boundary.—A north and south line drawn from the southernmost point of Stonecutters Island until it reaches the southern boundary.
