STORES DEPARTMENT.

In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by regula- tion 50 of the Defence Regulations, 1940, as enacted by Government Notification 1230 published in the Gazette of 8th November, 1940, I, the Stores Controller, with the con- sent of His Excellency the Officer Administering the Govern- ment, hereby make the following order—

The maximum price at which, until my further order in that behalf, FIREWOOD may be sold retail in this Colony shall be-

$1.00 per 40 catties.
