ORDINANCE No. 10 of 1933. (VOLUNTEER).
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Volunteer Ordinance, 1933, the General Officer Commanding the Troops, with the approval of the Governor, after con- sultation with the Commandant of the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps, amends the regulations made under the said Ordinance and published as Government Notification 696 in the Gazette of 25th August, 1939, as follows-

Amendments.
1. Regulation 11 is amended by the rescission of the words three hundred dollars" in the second line of para- graph (1) thereof and the substitution therefor of the words
three hundred and fifty dollars ".
Regulation 11 as so amended shall be construed as authorizing an additional payment to any officer, who has drawn the allowance of three hundred dollars previously pay- able, of fifty dollars for any greatcoat (officers' pattern) which he purchases before 1st July, 1941.
2. The Second Appendix in the Schedule to the said regulations is amended by the addition at the end of List "A"
therein of the item-
'Greatcoat, officers' pattern
