ORDINANCE No. 38 of 1939.
(ESSENTIAL
COMMODITIES RESERVES).
In exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 16 of the Essential Commodities Reserves Ordinance, 1939, the Governor in Council amends Form No. 2 in the Schedule to the Essential Commodities Reserves Regulations as enacted by Government Notification 1033 published in the Gazette of 10th November, 1939, and amended by Government Noti- fication 710 published in the Gazette of 28th June, 1940, as follows-
Condition 7 is amended by the addition at the end thereof of the following proviso-
: Provided that, if in respect of any such addition an importer has in the opinion of the Controller of Food pre- viously made a reasonably true declaration of his anticipated annual imports, the addition shall be subject only to single levy.

ORDINANCE No. 8 of 1935.
AND DRUGS).
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Adulterated Food and Drugs Ordinance, 1935, the Governor in Council makes the following further amendment of the regulations made under the said Ordinance published as Government Notification No. 940 in the Gazette of the 6th December, 1935:—
Amendment.
In Regulation 1, a further sub-heading numbered (ii) (a) is added after sub-heading (ii) "Butter as follows:-

(ii) (a) Margarine is any article of food, whether mixed with butter or not, which resembles butter and is not milk-
