THE CROWN LANDS RESUMPTION ORDINANCE, 1900.

No. 47. It is hereby notified, under section 6 of the Crown Lands Resumption Ordinance, 1900, as enacted by Section 2 of the Crown Lands Resumption Amendment Ordinance, 1930, that the Board of Arbitrators, appointed to determine the amount of compensation to be paid in respect of the resumption of Lots Nos. 1678,1679,1680, 1681,1632,1683,1684,1635,1636,1687 and 1683, in Survey District II, at or near Diamond Hill, is constituted as follows:-

Mr. THOMAS STODART WHYTE-SMITH, Justice of the Peace, Chairman.

Mr. ANDREW NICOL, M.Inst. C.E., Chartered Civil Engineer, A.M. Inst. Struct. E., nominated by His Excellency the Officer Administering the Govern-

ment.

Mr. ERNEST MANNING HAZELAND, Architect, nominated by the Chairman on

behalf of the former owner.

It is hereby further notified that the Chairman hereby appoints Friday, the 17th day of January, 1941, at 2.30 o'clock in the aternoon, at the Urban Council Room, Post Office Building, Hong Kong, as the time and place for the Board to commence its sittings.

Any person claiming compensation, whether as owner or otherwise, by reason of such resumption, must at least two days before the commencement of the sittings of the Board, transmit to the Colonial Secretary, for transmission to the Board, a written claim stating the nature of his right or interest in the land and the amount which he seeks to recover.
