APPOINTMENTS, &c.

No. 33. It is hereby notified that during the absence from the Colony of Mr. SEIKI YANO, Consul-General for Japan at Hong Kong, Mr. TAKIO ODA will be in charge of the Japanese Consulate-General.

4th January, 1941.

No. 34. His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased, under Section 2 of the Fire Brigade Ordinance, No. 20 of 1923, to appoint Mr. JACK COOPER FITZ-HENRY, M.I. Fire E., to act as Chief Officer, Fire Brigade, with effect from 1st January, 1941.

No. 35.-His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to make, under Section 3 of the Immigration Control Ordinance, 1940, the following appointments in the Immigration Department, with effect from the 15th day of January, 1941:-
