The Trade Mark consists of an oblong label containing in the upper part the words "Gold Medal Awarded Edin- burgh 1886" beneath which is the name "Smith's" and the representa. tion of the obverse and reverse sides of the medal referred to. The Trade Mark consists of the distinc- tive words "Old English Curve Cut" (the words "Old English" being in old English type) followed by the words "Pipe Tobacco " enclosed in a square border having ornamental lines at each corner. The inside of the square is of frosted appearance. In the top border lines are the words A slice to a Pipeful", in the left hand border lines the words "Choice
