No. S. 357-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders which should be clearly marked "Tender for the maintenance of Water Works", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 4th November, 1912. for the maintenance, repair and minor extensions or alterations of Water Works in the Colony of Hongkong, British Kow- loon and the New Territories during the year 1913.

No works other than emergency works will be permitted on Sundays.

For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

Notice is hereby given that the Kushiro-ko Wreck-Buoy on the Northwest of Shireto-se, Kushiro Anchorage, province of Kushiro, has drifted about 4 Cable Southeastward from its moorings.

Notice is hereby given that the light at Kottoi Lighthouse, Toyora, province of Nagato, which was temporaily discontinued (see Notification No. 155 of Department of Communica- tions, September 1912) has been shown as ever.

MASTERS of vessels, pilots, and others are hereby informed that the square-headed bea- con at Luff Point will, in the course of a few days, be moved to a position about 350ft. South of its present position.
