TAKE NOTICE that the KWONG LUN TAI of No. 284 Queen's Road Central Victoria in the Colony of Hongkong have commenced an Action against you the HIP TAK LUNG in the Summary Jurisdiction of the Supreme Court of Hongkong by Writ of that Court dated the 23rd day of September 1912 and being Action No. 1612 of 1912 Summary Jurisdiction and which Writ is endorsed as follows:-

The Plaintiffs' claim against the Defend. ants is for payment of the sum of $684 (Six hundred and eighty-four dollars) due from the Defendants to the Plaintiffs for balance of an account for goods sold and delivered (full particulars whereof have been delivered and exceed 3 folios). ·

AND TAKE NOTICE that the said Court has by an Order dated the 26th day of Septem. ber 1912 authorised service of the said Writ by the insertion of this Notice once in the Hong- kong Government Gazette and twice in a Chinese Newspaper published in this Colony and by such Notice being put up at the Court House Door.

AND TAKE NOTICE that you are required to attend the said Court on Friday the 11th day of October 1912 at 10 o'clock in the forenoon to defend the said Action and in default of your so doing the KWONG LUN TAI may proceed therein and Judgment may be given in your absence.
