No. S. 313.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders, which should be clearly marked "Tenders for supply of Winter Uniform for Revenue Officers", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Thursday, the 26th September, 1912, for the- making up and supply of Winter Uniform for the European and Native Revenue Officers in this Department.
Samples of uniform may be seen, and any further information obtained at this Office.

KOWLOON-CANTON RAILWAY.
No. S. 314. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders, which should be clearly marked "Tender for the supply of Clothing for Railway Department", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 27th instant, for the supply and making of Clothing for the use of the Railway Department for 1912-1913.
Tenderers must produce a receipt that they have deposited in the Colonial Treasury the sum of $25 as a pledge of the bonâ fides of their tender, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if any tenderer fails or refuses to carry out his tender, should such tender be accepted.
For further particulars and form of tender apply to the Manager, Railway Offices, Kowloon.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

CANDLE POWER TO BE REDUCED TEMPORARILY.
NOTICE is hereby given that, the candle power of the light of Satamisaki, on the small rock island south point of Province of Osumi, shall be reduced to 1,700 (Seventeen Hun- dred) candles, during the repair of the illuminating apparatus.
N.B.-No change as to the visible distance of the light.
