HARBOUR MASTER'S DEPARTMENT.

No. S. 237.—It is hereby notified that information has been received from the Military Authorities that Gun Practice will be carried out as under:-

On Tuesday, the 6th August :-

From the East of Hongkong, in a North-Easterly direction, between the hours

of 7 p.m. and midnight.

If the weather is unfavourable, the practice will be carried out, between the same hours, on the following day.

All ships, junks and other vessels are to keep clear of the ranges.

Ir is hereby notified that on Myss Folotoi" (Golden Cape) a sign has been put up in the shape of a large cross and the determined co-ordinates of the extremity of that Cape are the following:

Alteration in position of South-East Spit Gas-lighted Buoy.

REFERRING to Special Notice to Mariners No. 376, notice is hereby given that the South-east Spit Gas-lighted Buoy has been inoved, and is now moored in 29 feet of water at low water of spring tides. From the Buoy, Leo Point Beacon bears N. 46° W. (magnetic), distant 4.86 miles.

The characteristics of the Buoy remain unchanged.
