No. S. 197.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders, which should be clearly marked "Tenders for Repairs to No. 1 Police Launch", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 12th July next.

Specifications can be obtained at the Government Marine Surveyor's Office. Repairs to be executed to the satisfaction of the Government Marine Surveyor. The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

Uncharted Rock in the Front Reach, Canton River.

NOTICE is hereby given that an uncharted patch of rock, covered 6 feet at low water of spring tides, exists in the Front Reach, Canton River, with the eastern point of Kuper Island bearing N. 71° E., magnetic, distant 76 cables.

LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS No. 118.

Entrance to Pagoda Anchorage.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Niu Ta Rock Buoy has been changed in colour to red and is now moored on the eastern edge of the Niu Ta rocky patch in 25ft. low water spring tides. From the Buoy Single Tree bears S. 10° W. dist. 92 cables. This Buoy now marks the starboard side of the channel for vessels bound up river.

A 6ft. nun buoy painted black is moored on the western edge of the rocky patch on the west side of Spiteful Sd. in 27 ft. low water spring tides. From the buoy Single Tree bears S. 16° W. dist. 103 cables. This Buoy marks the port side of the channel for vessels bound up river.
