No. S. 64.- -It is hereby notified that information has been received from the Military Authorities that Gun Practice will be carried out as under:-

On Monday and Tuesday, the 4th and 5th March, 1912: ---

From the East of Hongkong, in a Northerly to North-Easterly direction, be-

tween the hours of 6.30 p.m. and midnight.

If the weather is unfavourable on either of the above dates, practice may take place on the dates following.

All ships, junks and other vessels are to keep clear of the ranges.

No. S. 65.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders which should be clearly marked "Tender for Road Improvements Bonham and Pokfulam Roads' will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 11th day of March, 1912, for Improve- ments of Roads near junction of Bonham and Pokfulam Roads.

No work will be permitted on Sundays.

For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office. The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

SHIMIZU LIGHTHOUSE TO BE ESTABLISHED.

NOTICE is hereby given that a lighthouse which is now under construction on Debana outside Shimizu harbour, Abe-gun, Suruga province, will shortly be completed, and lighted on and after March 1st, 1912. The lighthouse is as under :-

Position :-Lat. 35° 0′ 24′′ N., Long. 138° 31′ 51′′ E. (According to the Japanese

Admiralty chart No. 89.)
