No. S. 49.-It is hereby notified that information has been received from the Military Authorities that Gun Practice will be carried out as under :-

On Wednesday, the 21st February, 1912---

From the West of Hongkong, in a North-Westerly to South-Westerly direc

tion, between the hours of 9.30 a.m. and 4 p.m., weather permitting.

If the range is clear, practice will be concluded by 2 p.m.

All ships, junks and other vessels are to keep clear of the ranges.

OFFICE OF REGISTRAR OF TRADE MARKS.

No. S. 50. It is hereby notified that Messrs. MEE TAI and Company of 38 Gage Street, Victoria, Hongkong, have applied for leave to add to and alter, in a manner not sub- stantially affecting the identity of the same, their trade mark No. 167 of 1911, registered in Class 45 in respect of manufactured tobacco.

The alterations are:---

A slight alteration in the form of the wreath, scrolls, and borders. A slight altera- tion in the shape of the bear and the insertion of a rock beneath it. The

insertion of additional rays surrounding the bear. The insertion of the characters

above the bear. The substitution of the characters

A representation of the trade mark as altered is deposited for inspection in the Regis- trar's Office.
