Creditors applying for payment must pro- duce any bills of exchange or other securities held by them and must sign a receipt in the prescribed form.

Lowe, BINGHAM & MATTHEWS of Victoria in the Colony of Hongkong the Liquidator of the said Company, and if so required by notice in writing from the Liquidator by their solicitors or personally come in and prove their sid debts and claims in the Chambers of the Chief Justice in the Supreme Court House Victoria at such time as specified in the sad notice and in default of their so doing they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved. Tuesday the 27th day of February 1912 a: 10,30 o'clock in the forenoon at the Chambers of His Honour the hief Justice has been appointed for hearing and adjudicating upon the said debts and claims.

OTICE is hereby given that the BRITISH CIGARETTE COMPANY, LIMITED, (a Company registered under the Laws of Hong- kon2), of 18 Bank Buildings, Hongkong, and 22 Museum Red, Shanghai, China, Tobacco Manufacturers, have on the 19th day of De- cember, 1911, applied for the registration in Hongkong, in the Register of Trade Marks, of the following Trade Mark : —

The Trade Mark represents a Shield on which are shown the letters X. T. C. The Shield is shown hanging from a button mounted on a bow of ribbon. Below the Shield is shewn the Com- pany's name,
